Our story

How we came together.

In September 2025, Dr. Mohammad Imran Naeem and Joel O'Connor joined forces around a shared set of foundational principles: a genuine passion for mental health and an uncompromising commitment to quality care. Together, they built Redi-Med Psychiatry to make high-quality psychiatric care easier to reach for patients and families, accepting most insurance plans.

Our team

Five providers, one team.

Our five providers are Dr. Mohammad Imran Naeem, MD, psychiatrist, and Joel O'Connor, Olivia Esquerre, Lindsey Kappes and Samantha Russo, all PMHNPs. Alongside our nurses and support staff, every person on our team is a valued member who brings their own diverse life experience together with their professional training.

That blend of personal perspective and clinical skill helps us understand each patient as a whole person, not just a diagnosis.

01
Our Mission

Quality psychiatric care for everyone, within one week.

In a 2023 study of psychiatrists in five U.S. states, new patients waited a median of more than two months (67 days) for an outpatient psychiatry appointment.* In that time, symptoms can worsen, and many people grow frustrated and give up on care altogether. We work every day to keep that one-week standard, in person or by virtual visit, while accepting most insurance plans. We hold a heartfelt commitment to military members, military families and first responders, who give so much to protect others.

Our Vision

No one should wait months for mental health care.

We envision a Southeast Louisiana where no one has to wait months for mental health care. We strive to be the practice that answers the call quickly, treats every patient like family, and delivers quality care with respect, compassion and faith.
